The pros and cons of online conveyancing

With the advent of the internet it was inevitable that at some point conveyancing would be available online. There are now quite a few companies that have been set up who offer conveyancing purely online so in this article we take a quick look at the pros and cons of online conveyancing and what it means to you.
Firstly, what are the pros?

–       Ability to track progress of your matter whenever you choose to log in, even when the office is closed

–       You can usually contact by email and leave a message which is useful if you are not able to get in touch during working hours.

And now on to the cons….

–       Some people like to visit the Conveyancer’s office for a personal service

–       Some online conveyancing providers have a team dealing with your matter so that you don’t deal with the same person and sometimes can’t even get to speak to someone by telephone as there is a long holding queue.

Online conveyancing is here to stay and it will be interesting to see how it develops over the coming years. At Anthony Stockton Solicitors we like to get to know our customers so that we can offer them the kind of personal service that builds confidence and trust.

Whilst we offer an online tracking service to enable you to track the progress of your case and use emails for some correspondence, you will also have a named Conveyancer in charge of your case and you can always contact them or their personal assistant to discuss your matter. If you choose you can also attend the office.

Our aim is to try and provide a service that you want and try and tailor our service for you as an individual.
